We heard from our users that investing can be daunting when you’re doing it alone, especially if you don’t have anyone to talk to and ask those 'silly questions'.
To help with this , our Communities bring you together with other users to discuss a wide range of investing topics.

Whether you’re just getting started or you live on Wall Street itself, Communities are a space where you can connect and learn from others. There are discussion dens that you can use to help make sense of an investment opportunity, ask that burning question, or share your hot take on a piece of topical news. However you plan to use Communities, there’s something here for everyone.

What makes Communities on Shares different? 🔮
That’s simple. We’re one of the few places where you can chat and invest in the same place. You can use our Communities to learn, catch up on news, and buy stocks. Everything is just a few taps away from each other. Better yet, Communities will give you the tools you need to make your point and make the (sometimes) complicated world of investing more accessible.
Our updated Community Guidelines
We know how important it is to get Communities right the first time round. That’s why our biggest priority is making sure that we’re creating a space that you’re excited about and feel comfortable sharing in.
To help us do this, we’ve revamped our Community Guidelines (again!). Our new guidelines are more explicit about the ways in which we do and don’t want you to engage. They’re well worth a read if you have the time. We’ll use these guidelines to help our Moderators create the best-possible experience.
Can anyone join a community?
Yes! As long as you’ve got the Shares app, you’re good to go! However, to get the most out of our Communities, we recommend setting up your investing profile first.
